Our Chef

Winner of a two-star Michelin award, a two-star Egon Ronay award and four AA Rosettes, Andrew Barnes brings with him experience from Le Gavroche, 90 Park Lane and a 17-year career as Head Chef and Executive Chef with Paul Heathcote’s restaurant group and training school.

Andrew is looking to use his broad English experience and the exceptional local produce of Western Australia to develop fresh new menu choices that will complement the excellent wine selections and build on the well-established Friends Restaurant trademark with owners Clyde and Lesley Bevan.

Friends Restaurant has a reputation for award-winning cuisine, wine and entertainment – the appointment of world-class chef Andrew Barnes is set to build on that.
