The food was exquisite and the service was fantastic. We were
there for the Legends of Rock night and it was a fantastic event
and a perfect way to spend a Saturday night!

We undertook the Tasting Menu with the premium wine list. We
have undertaken tasting menus (degustations) in several restaurants
and we believe it is a wonderful way in which to appreciate the
food, the chief and the wine. I would rate Friends Restaurant's
tasting menu very high.
It was a lovely experience from the moment we arrived at the
restaurant until we left. We watched a beautiful sunset while
enjoying scallops with Pommery Brut Royal NV and finished several
hours later after courses of crab, salmon, duck, beef and Turkish
delight. Each course and each wine complemented each other beautifully.

I have been dinning at Friends for a few years now because it
excels in all areas. The food presentation is fantastic and the
tastes are just divine. Clyde and Lesley are excellent hosts and
the service couldn't be better. They have an outstanding wine
list and the shows they put on are just great. I couldn't think
of a better place to dine and really doubt that there actually
is anywhere better.

The view, the ambience and the attention to detail make it a
delight to visit this restaurant. As usual the range of wines
is exceptional and with help from Clyde a memorable bottle is
